Intelligence Brief

The 'qav' (measuring line) was the surveyor's tool for establishing boundaries and dimensions before construction. God's use of this image insists that creation was not chaotic emergence but intentional engineering. Every dimension was specified. The same imagery appears in Zechariah's vision of Jerusalem being measured (Zechariah 2:1-2) and in Ezekiel's temple measurements. The measuring line says: this was planned. The scarlet thread: in Revelation 21, the angel measures the New Jerusalem — the final city, the completed project. What God began in Genesis 1, he completes in Revelation 21-22.
