The overcomer will be made a permanent, structural member of God's temple — "he shall never go out of it." In earthquake-prone Philadelphia (devastated AD 17), the promise of permanence was deeply personal. A pillar is structural — load-bearing, immovable. Galatians 2:9 calls James, Peter, and John "pillars." The overcomer receives the same designation eternally. SCIF: Permanent structural assignment — installed as a load-bearing element of the Commander's own residence. No displacement.
