The final, permanent, conscious separation from God in the lake of fire (Rev 20:14; 21:8). Physical death is the first death. The second death is everlasting conscious punishment under divine wrath — not annihilation. The overcomer is guaranteed immunity: ou mē adikēthē — emphatic double negative, the strongest possible negation. GK: ho thanatos ho deuteros (ὁ θάνατος ὁ δεύτερος). HEB: mot (מוֹת); doubling echoes Genesis 2:17 mot tamut. SCIF: Permanent termination of existence within the Commander's jurisdiction — full and final exile. The operative who holds position through the first death is permanently exempt from the second.
