Intelligence Brief
Every people group on earth will be forced into anguished, horrified reckoning at Christ's return — the involuntary response of those who rejected him now confronting the full consequence of that rejection. This is not saving repentance. The door of mercy is closed at the Parousia. The mourning (GK: koptō — to beat the breast, to wail) is the terror of the condemned, not the contrition of the repentant. While Zechariah 12:10 describes Israel mourning unto salvation, John has universalized and intensified the image: every hostile actor, every rejecting nation, is forced into this posture. Every knee will bow — some in worship, these in dread. SCIF: Universal forced reckoning — every regional network driven into alarm posture at the commander's return. The window for defection has closed.
