Proverbs 3:19-20 declares that Yahweh 'founded the earth' by wisdom and 'established the heavens' by understanding. This is not poetic decoration but theological claim: wisdom is the operating principle of creation itself. Proverbs 8:22-31 expands this dramatically, showing wisdom present 'before the beginning of the earth,' rejoicing in creation as a master craftsman.
